Sri Lankan nationals residing/working in Vietnam and wish to obtain a Certificate of Police Clearance can apply for the same by submitting his/her application either direct to the Police Headquarters in Colombo or at the Embassy. Police Clearance Certificates are issued by the Inspector-General of Police in Sri Lanka and therefore it is likely to take around three months to receive the certificate.

Documents required
 
       (1)        Duly filled application form :      Download the application
       (2)        Photocopy of the data page of the passport  & the current visa for Vietnam
       (3)        Fee of US$ 10.00

Payment of the Fee

The fees could be paid in cash over the counter at the Embassy or deposit / transfer in the Embassy bank account. If the fee has been deposited in the bank, a copy of the receipt issued by the bank should be attached to the application. Official receipt will be issued for the payments.
